Education to the Community
In addition to the range of program services CFA offers to our members, we also offer education to the community and advocacy services, through training, referral and lobbying.
Education
The Cystic fibrosis Association of North Dakota can provide CF education through presentation to a variety of groups, including:
- Families
- Educators
- information about additional educational resources and services
- Student Classrooms
- Service Clubs, and the
- Community at large
Advocacy
CFA recognizes there are a diverse range of issues that people with CF and their families face every day. These may start as early as preschool age and continue into adult hood and the working world.
CFA can provide information and training on how to advocate for yourself or child whether in school or at the workplace.
CFA also advocates legislatively on a state level on issues related to or affecting members with cystic fibrosis.
